If this is their getaway after the shootings, they’re pretty blasé about it.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.

The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

— Sir Winston Churchill; (Source: The River War, first edition, Vol II, pages 248-250 London).

January 8 was it? And with it, the first Muslim Terrorist Attack of the New Year… France this time… and with it too, last time I checked, 17 people dead… Thus a detour from my planned discussion of self-levitation to put in my 35¢ worth on the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

Want to know something astounding? Back in the 7th century when Islam exploded onto the scene, they produced — up to that time at least — the wisest, most enlightened civilization the world had ever seen. In terms of social justice alone, even women got a relatively decent deal. What we have left of ancient Greece; the mythology, the literature, the philosophy, the language? The Renaissance of Western Civilization? The beginnings of advanced mathematics? You can thank the Muslims. What’s gone wrong since? Damned if I know, but “business as usual” opined my octogenarian friend Pavel Chekov.

Regarding Charlie Hebdo, however, and after appraising some of the flotsam of Internet Pundits — I have the sense not to bother with “the ‘presstitutes’ of the mainstream media”, and neither should you — I don’t know quite what to think about that either. Being on the other side of the planet pretty much, and raised in a culture for centuries inimical to the French may have given me a measure of objectivity. Then again maybe I’m just clueless and fatuous…

Whatever. Have a look at this cover, gentle readers:

      Charlie Hebdo 1

Or this one:

Charlie Hebdo 2

More to the point, how about this?

Charlie Hebdo 3

Or this (admittedly not a cover, but an illustration inside):

Charlie Hebdo 4

Go to Google Images, enter “Charlie Hebdo” and you’ll see these are typical.

Speaking as a Lapsed Anglican — and you can’t get much more apathetic than that — I find these images so offensive and puerile they don’t deserve the dignity of a response. But there’s plenty of people in this world who lack that degree of sophistication, civility and restraint, and can you entirely blame them? How many people marched in Paris in support of this smut? What where they thinking? And yes I know 17 people were killed.

That’s one side of it. Here’s another:

“Police found an ID document of Said Kouachi at the scene of the shooting, CNN affiliate BFMTV reported. “It was their only mistake,” said Dominique Rizet, BFMTV’s police and justice consultant, reporting that “the discovery helped the investigation.”

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/01/07/europe/france-satire-magazine-gunfire/

I’ll bet that mistake helped the investigation. Sorta like this mistake helped a similar investigation?

Charlie Hebdo 5

That, gentle readers, in case you’ve forgotten after 14 years, is the visa of one Satam Muhammed Abdel Rahman al-Suqami, a student resident in the good ol’ US of A before he was involved in the hijackings on September 11, 2001… It was discovered in this condition I am led to believe,  on top of the rubble of the World Trade Centre having survived the crash and ensuing inferno..

Not unlike a feather off an Angel’s wing…

How about perhaps a mistake like this one?Charlie Hebdo 6

In the back and forth over the years of “he did / he didn’t / it was / it wasn’t”… Seems not too many people have asked the most salient question:

“Never mind the shape it’s allegedly in, or its astonishing trajectory: What was it doing on Connally’s stretcher just as if it had been planted there?”

So the official story is those tiresome Muslims got all ornery and stupid and went on a rampage over some silly cartoons, again. And murdered a bunch of innocent people. Again. Yet I wonder how “The Terrorists” could possibly believe this atrocity could in any way serve Islam or its adherents?

It can’t.

This will further justify the developing notion of: “the only good Muslim’s a dead one”. It will justify in France and by extension Europe, a curtailment of civil liberties and yes, of “free speech”. (A right, QED, you’d better be judicious in using — there’s reasons civilized behaviour makes a fetish of restraint, etiquette and decorum.) It plays directly into the hands of The Ministry of Love here on the other side of the pond.Charlie Hebdo 6a

And that’s all it’s going to do: Because of course, the Charlie Hebdo massacre is a  False-Flag. Yes I know 17 people were killed.

In the immortal words of Han Solo: “I’ve got a bad feeling about this”. We’re headed for another constructed holocaust, Gentle Readers. Not right now. Not this year, not next year… But five years, ten years down the road? Yeah, well I’m just a  loopy failed musician who thinks too much, so don’t worry about it.

“It behooves us all to think. Why would Muslims be more outraged by cartoons in a Paris magazine than by hundreds of thousands of Muslims killed by Washington and its French and NATO vassals in seven countries during the past 14 years?

If Muslims wanted to make a point of the cartoons, why not bring a hate crime charge or lawsuit? Imagine what would happen to a European magazine that dared to satirize Jews in the way Charlie Hebdo satirized Muslims.”

— Paul Craig Roberts

Ooh, la, la! …But you have to admit, however indelicate he was with that remark about Jews, Mr. Roberts might have a point.

Have a look at the rest of his article and see what you think. Meanwhile as I’ve said, the Internet’s a dangerous place to publish stuff, and as “The Muslims”, the staff of Charlie Hebdo, Diana Spencer, Jacintha Seldanha, among far to many others have demonstrated, it is most unwise to get in the way of The Powers That Be, however inadvertently.

Or to unwittingly serve their purposes.

Thus I’m going to keep this kind of off-topic conjecture down to a dull roar. Back to my self-improvement endeavours.
